Chephren, who was the son of Cheops built his pyramid slightly smaller in respect to his father, with a height of 136 meters with some remains of the outer casing at the top. You will see the Great Sphinx. Then you will enter the Valley Temple, where the mummification process of the king took place as part of the burial process.
Continue your tours in Cairo by moving to the location of the ancient city of Memphis, which was once the capital of Egypt. There, you can visit the open-air museum that is home to the second-largest alabaster sphinx and a colossal statue of King Ramses II, who was one of the most powerful rulers of the new kingdom. Transfer to the Dahshur Archaeological Site to view the Red and Bent Pyramids, two of the four pyramids built for King Snefru, the creator of the 4th dynasty.
